A quiet corner with a Ukulele

2-ukes

The gray of the sky outside makes me want to cover up and find a quiet place to read or strum the Ukulele.
We still haven’t had any significant amount of snow even though the NWS says there’s a hundred percent chance.
Hmmm, how does that work again? I hope you all find your quiet little nook this weekend to savor the warmth of your homes
and hearts. Advent season and all of its activities can be such a reflective time of the year…
And maybe with a little luck we’ll get some snow.

  1. What beautiful instruments to snuggle up with. I can imagine the happy music that comes from these trysts. Wishing you a snowy weekend.

  2. We are having the same weather, but warmer. I am going to spend the next couple of hours on the couch doing needlework–under a bright lamp.

Dry air is the reason for the snow not coming down. The moisture doesn’t make it to the ground.
Sometimes we get a whole day of it before the storm kicks in.

  3. I’m waiting and hoping for snow here in CO, Christine. Supposedly we’ll get a little – unfortunately not a big storm. But every little bit counts.

  4. My comment went poof!

I’m so tired of cold, rainy days, we’ve had nothing but those for weeks now, here in BC.

Really enjoyed your warm, cozy words Christine.

Happy Holidays and all the best in 2013.

    Hugs, G

  5. I am hoping you’ve had some snow by now, Christine. We’ve had some…and then most of it melted…and now it’s being predicted again. Hope you are having another quiet enjoyable weekend. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
