May Storm Missions

It seemed this particular evening sun gathered in all the colors of the day in its setting. The Missions still have snow but it is melting quickly. The May rains have been welcome after the very warm weather we have been experiencing. It has been odd to go from shutting the house up against the chill at night to opening all the windows as wide as we are able. I don’t doubt we will have more cool nights in the week ahead, but for now this summer-like weather is a treat. Opening up the door to a rain-washed street and freshly renewed flowers was a wonderful way to start out my Monday morning.

    I would give nearly anything to wake up to a rain soaked street! Such a beautiful picture.
