Sly or shy, the moon
felt compelled to hide and seek
over Peak’s shoulder.

What a shot. We watched the full moon come up as we drove home Sunday night. A beautiful sight. No mountains in our view though. We do have trees that appear as ragged mountains in the twilight with the moon peeking above them. Remember I have a good imagination. ;)

Bravo to Matthew for the photo! I really like your play on words in the poem, Christine.

Beautiful! The moon was yellowish here last night, too. You have the perfect place to take dramatic shots.

I heard there was a tornado in your state today. That is unusual, isn’t it?

Thank you, everyone! It was quite a sight to behold.

Sandy, for the eastern part of the state it is not that uncommon for tornadoes to show up. Last month
Billings had a major tornado which wiped out the Metro civic center.
