Conquer ~ OSI

Christine October 20th, 2009

You were strong people
the lake was as your own blood
how you were broken

ancient waters slowed
the shoreline much as it was
but for your absence.

A lovely tribute. This poem along with the photo makes me feel sad for those that are gone and those that feel the pain of losing their life blood.

How do we manage to break strong people? Who dares to come behind such majesty and kick it behind the knees? I don’t get that. But I do love this poem for its respect and wonder.
