Last night’s La Luna
Christine September 4th, 2009
Matthew and I rode our bikes out to the track & football field last evening; we waited around for about 40 minutes for the moon rise. Hmmm, tapping foot. Where is it? It was a lovely evening but the wind was picking up from the northwest. Silly us, we became impatient and cold, so then we decided to ride back to the house. Five minutes later here she comes over the Jocko ridge. So, Sara and Alasdair took the camera with big lens and tripod over a few blocks and got this shot – it’s so nice to have staff! Well done you two.

You lucky lady to have such talented staff. I love the quote and I am in complete agreement with Mr Shaw.
Great photo, thank you staff. Love the quote. Was too cloudy here to see anything. Maybe tonight.
spectacular!
How on earth did they get that photo????? Whenever I’ve tried when it’s pitch black out, I just get an over exposed white blob! Lack of experience and knowledge I guess! (-: That is a stunning photo. Your staff are very capable types! (-:
I see you got it, and it looks great. You got some exercise and together time, anyway. That is a good shot. On the bottom part, it almost looks like roads heading away from the crater.
Lovely photo of the moon! Love the quote! I think I’ve met some of those lunatics!
The sepia tone really adds to the mystery and splendor of it, but unfortunately on my screen, most of the moon is hidden behind the boxes that say Susbcribe and Events Calendar and part of Recent Comments. This doesnt’ happen every time on your blog, but fairly often, no idea why. ?
A great view of the moon – your staff needs a raise.
silence is my anti spam word and this picture utterly leaves me in silence. it’s a stunning shot. and yes, staff is a wonderful thing to have around. have a great night.
Wow, that is really a great shot!
