Looking out a window

Christine June 22nd, 2009

Various images (all enlarge) taken out some window this week.  Below is a shot out of my sister in law’s window in Missoula yesterday on Father’s Day.

I have more basil growing this season than any one pesto-crazed person needs.  I have to keep it all in pots because otherwise it becomes overnight an insect specialty – gourmet slug food.  That is a term I swiped from Suz in Vancouver.

And our lovely Mission Mountains tonight just about 30 minutes ago. I was wearing my wool sweater most of the day.

Tomorrow is forecasting more sunshine so the garden should go nuts.  Snowy peaks above and basil below – I feel content.

Really like that TALL candle of your sisters. And the last shot of the mountains is delightfully moody. Yet hope the sun comes out for you tomorrow.

Lovely views out those windows, especially the mountain.

Oh my! A wool sweater sounds wonderful to me right about now (or rather make that, the NEED of a wool sweater). All we have over here is the “sweat” part… The picture of the mountain is gorgeous. I re-did my iGoogle homepage yesterday and found a theme to use that’s of the Bitteroot Mtns. It’s cooling to look at!

There’s never a dull moment with those mountains is there Christine! Beautiful!

Do you keep your basil indoors? I usually grow bush basil, but it has been so cold this year that it isn’t doing anything at all in the garden.

Those mountains are lovely in any season. Do you have to worry about frost in your garden?

I am reminded of silence and contemplating when I look at that beautiful candle.

That’s a bug’s specialty eating one’s plants. Frustrating at best.

Your mountain shot is definitely moody and cold looking. It’s been so warm here I forget that it isn’t that way everywhere.

Hope all is well. Good night~

What nice views out the windows. Love your foggy, snowy mountain photo, beautiful and moody and it makes me shiver.
Oh, how I hate slugs! :)

Pick it up!
