Little bird

This little bird came by my Mother’s suet feeder when we were up there visiting on Thursday.  It landed right in front of me and did not seem to mind my presence, so I snapped a couple shots. At first I thought it was a female Nuthatch but after looking at its gray, downy feathers I thought again. Any idea what this small beauty could be, or was my first guess correct?

What a little cutie!! My guess is it’s a Pygmy Nuthatch.

Hi Christine, it is a Debbie thought, a Pygmy Nuthatch. That is one very sweet birdy! (-:
