Snow and Eleanor

Christine February 10th, 2007

We are missing our son and his significant other today. We are all looking forward to next weekend when we will drive to Spokane for a Switchfoot concert at the Big Easy. Recently, we have set up a web video system so we can talk to them at the college. It’s a funny way to communicate as there is a slight time lag. So, when you converse you really have to pay attention to when the other party is finished and/or wait your turn to speak. That is not a bad habit to get into, right? And, if they are particularly animated about something the video feed only picks up part of the motion so you end up seeing something akin to a fast-paced MTV production.   Anyway, here is a quote for the couple studying away. (I hope they are studying!) The web cam is on their campus which has a lot more sunshine and snow than do we.

“The giving of love is an education in itself.”
